Hidden recipient mark · runs on your phone

ID Copy Tracer

Before you hand over a photo of your ID, hide the recipient's name inside it. If the copy turns up somewhere it shouldn't, check it here to see who you gave it to.

Nothing is kept here. No accounts, no uploads. Your photo never leaves your phone. Why I made this

This name is hidden inside the image. Accents take extra space, so "Hoa" fits more than "Hòa".

Hidden mark strength

Recommended. Survives being re-saved, shrunk and sent through chat apps.

Your secret word
····-····-····

Every copy you mark is locked to this word, and only this word can read it back. It's kept on this phone. Write it down somewhere safe so you can check copies on another device too.

Use a different secret word

Copies you've already made keep their old word, so note it down before changing.

Why I made this

People in Vietnam are finding out that someone has used their ID card to sign them up for things they never agreed to. Organ donation. Loans they now get chased for. It can start with an ID photo you handed to a landlord, a phone shop or a lender, which then ends up with the wrong person.

A loan someone takes out in your name without your consent isn't your debt under Vietnamese law. Proving that is up to you, though. A copy marked with the name of whoever you gave it to is something concrete to show the lender and the police.

I built this so you can protect your own copies before you hand them over. Nothing is kept here. No accounts, no uploads, and your photo never leaves your phone while you use it. I just want it to be easier to look after yourself.

How it works

Hidden mark. The recipient's name and the date are hidden in the photo as tiny brightness changes. You won't see them, but this page can read them back with your secret word.

Visible stamp. A faint line of text across the card, like "Chỉ dùng cho Shop ABC". It makes a stolen copy hard to reuse for a loan or a sign-up, and the hidden mark still works underneath.

Nothing is uploaded. Your photo is processed on your own phone and only saved where you choose. Once it's on your home screen, it works without internet too.
